Virtual encounters on human rights - On South Africa's Youth Day - 16 June 2020 - participants from across South Africa and Vienna joined online to speculate about our Human Rights of the Future. This extended into further working sessions until the 18 July 2020.

Marcus Neustetter invites Roben Mlauzi to call out on the Nelson Mandela Platz, Seestadt, Vienna in an attempt to activate and reimagine this public space.

18 July 2020 - Nelson Mandela Day.
The resulting designed symbols, representing the collaborative speculations about our Human Rights of the Future, were presented on the same day in 3 cities in South Africa as an act of connection and solidarity. Bloemfontein, Nelson Mandela Bay and Soweto saw symbolic and meaningful moments of reflection and solidarity in a very difficult time in South Africa. The 4th iteration on the same day was in Vienna on the Nelson Mandela Platz, Seestadt as part of the Nelson Mandela Day celebrations.
18 July 2020 - Nelson Mandela Day.
While participants from Bloemfontein, Nelson Mandela Bay and Soweto presented symbolic and meaningful moments of reflection and solidarity in their cities, Marcus Neustetter responded in Vienna on the Nelson Mandela Platz, Seestadt as part of the Nelson Mandela Day celebrations organised by SADOCC with Nina Herzog and Helena Hornung. This was Neustetter's attempt to connect to his community in South Africa and a provocation for a meaningful development for the Nelson Mandela Platz in Seestadt, Vienna.
